Hi.
This is a site where I look forward to sharing some of my favorite things with you — in particular, music and other arts.
It was inspired by my friend Jim’s project in which he asked several of his college friends to give him a list of their 100 favorite songs — in 1989. Now 32 years later, he’s done it again.
In 1989, I gave him several cassette tapes with the whole Top 100. This time I’m going to kick off this site with a countdown of my 100 faves … hence the title of the site. The posts will come with at least a little commentary, some youtube links, spotify playlists and God knows what else. Let’s have some fun with it.
Meanwhile, just for the fun of it, let’s kick it off with one that isn’t on the Top 100 … it’s a video from a few years back when we did a tribute to my late friend Tyler Harrington. This is one of my songs that we worked on together, performed with Irving Klaws at Mohawk Place … a little off-key at times because I couldn’t hear myself, but, hey, that’s rock ‘n’ roll!
